goodbye, hello

We celebrated the 4th with an early morning viewing of Despicable Me 2, some laundry, and a trip to the airport. Maybe I’m getting more mom-ish in my older years, but I actually felt a hint of missing-my-boys as I watched their plane take off. A hint.

The hint was soon subsided by a drive up to Cape Cod where we re-visited a place with all things lobster, water, and vintage shops. Without children. And then we went to dinner last night at 8:30, in the city. Without children. It’s sort of relaxing. And a nice way to spend early married life.
